We are very proud to announce that the International Astronomical Union and its organising bodies  responsible for the IYA2009 have decided to include Ancient-Skies as part of the International Year of Astronomy - 2009 cornerstone project "Astronomy and World Heritage"

This is a major achievement for us and will give us an incredible boost for the next phase, in which we will establish a global network of specialists to collect, verify and publish the available information about human cultures from around the globe and their astronomical knowledge.
